Kelly Ackerman is the first point of contact for the galleries, designers, schools, restaurants, and companies that frame with us. She didn’t just get into framing. She grew up in it.
A Framing Career That Started in the Trunk of a Car
Kelly’s story starts with her dad. More than 40 years ago, he began selling posters out of the trunk of his car. Once they started selling well, he had a lightbulb moment.
“He said, what do you need with a poster? FRAMES!”
That idea grew into a family framing company, and Kelly started working there during high school summers: rolling posters, shrink-wrapping picture frames, and packing orders.
From Family Business to Frame It Easy
After her family sold the company in 2024, Kelly joined Frame It Easy that September, bringing two decades of hands-on framing experience with her.
